Thank you for all the community participation at the auction and market. we will continue hold the auction every saturday throughout out the winter. I appreciate all the wonderful livestock that has gone through the auction so far.  I will continue to do my best as auctioneer to get the prices that the animals deserve.

 

 

auction particulars

  • Location: the auction will be held at the communiuty agricultural maket

 

  • Dates:every saturday

 

  • Time: check in will start at 8:00...auction calling will start at 10:00 (you will be able to check in livestock as long as the auction is still going)

 

  • Cost: there will be a 20% auction fee for consignors(no buyers fee)....Also A 1$ fee will be added for any check mailed (if you do not wish to receive a check in the mail you can pick up your money on saturday )

 The auction will not inturupt the ongoings of the market both will be going on at the same time 

 

 

many ways to participate and support the community

SELLERS:

  • any one can patrticipate in either the auction or the market. You can also do both.

 

  • if you don't have the time or desire to sell your livestock directly to the public we will auction them off for you.

 

  • if you would prefer to set your own prices and not pay the 20% you can still sell right out of your vehicle for a flat fee.

 

  • if you have culls to sell you can consign them in the auction and at the same time sell your prime stock directly.

 

  • you can place consing some of you stuff in the auction just to see what prices people are paying and then sell the rest of  your item direct.

BUYERS:

 

  • you can enjoy the excitment of bidding on any thing you see in the auction and if you don't win the bid you can buy directly from the vendors in the parking lot.

 

  • if you like like talking with the person who raised the livestock you are buying you can buy direct.

 

  • there will be many things to buy direct that we do not auction. Like, feed, plants, vegetables/fruits, arts/crafts, pigs/goats/sheep, and many more

 geese, turkeys, peafowl, guineas, pigeons, pheasants, cage birds) and any I couldn't think of
  • rabbits
  • guninea pigs/hamsters
  • farm supplies
  • animal supplies

What we can't auction

  • cows, sheep, goats, pigs, horses any other large livestock
  • heavy equipment
  • yard sale stuff
  • furniture
  • electronics (not agricultural related)
